Description
Carcassonne 2025 is the classic tile-laying game for two to five players. The game board is a medieval landscape which grows as the game continues. On each turn, a player draws a new terrain tile and places it adjacent to an already laid tile. Players may then place one of their followers (meeple) on a feature shown on the tile. Points are scored for completing roads, cities, cloisters and, at the end of the game, for farms adjacent to cities.
Carcassonne usually has several areas being vied for at any one time, providing strategic interest while remaining accessible to children and adults alike.
This refreshed 2025 edition includes updated rules and game mechanics for smoother gameplay, and new artwork and graphics. While the tiles remain compatible with older versions, the new artwork gives the game a fresher look. The set also includes the River and Abbot expansions for additional variety and customisation.
